SSC-JE Paper 1: General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning

In accordance to the latest pattern of the examination, our SSC-JE Paper-I program comprises of General Awareness (Including Current Affairs) and General Intelligence & Reasoning (Section A & B of 100 Marks) common for Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Streams.

The SSC – JE Paper-I is the first phase of the selection process and an objective type test conducted in online mode (Computer Based Examination). The weightage of marks for Paper 1 is of 200 marks (Section A- 50 Marks, Section B- 50 Marks and Section C- 100 Marks). There will be negative marking for each wrong answer in Paper I.

Apart from allotting the required time, spending sufficient study hours and testing oneself regularly, it is equally important to decipher the best ways to cover the vast portion including the non-technical topics (verbal & non-verbal reasoning, arithmetical computations, general awareness of environment and its application to the society) and master it.

SSC-JE Paper 2: Technical

The SSC JE Exam Paper 2 includes descriptive-type questions. This Paper has a weightage of 300 marks. There will be questions from relevant Engineering disciplines like Civil & Structural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Candidates have to appear in only one of these disciplines based on their graduation stream. The time duration of 2 hours will be allotted for this descriptive type paper.

Note:

1. There are no negative marks for Paper- II.
2. Questions will be set in both English & Hindi.
