Positions:
Assistant Software Engineer (ASE)

Pay Scale:
7 th CPC Level 7 + DA and other Allowances as per CRIS Rules (Basic Pay at the beginning of the scale would be approx. Rs. 44900 per month)

Educational Qualifications required::

    • BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Information Technology or Computer Science & Information Technology or Computer Applications, or MCA or B.Sc (Computer Science – 4 Year degree course). Relevant Degree from an AICTE/ UGC recognized institute, or equivalent qualification as per Govt. of India rules, with min 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates); and GATE Scores as specified.
    • Candidates with ME/M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering can also apply provided they possess the required GATE 2019 scores.

Selection Process:

    • The GATE 2019 Score would be considered for placing the candidates in order of merit (in case two candidates have the same GATE 2019 score, then the one with the higher All India Rank would be placed higher in the order of merit; in case two candidates have same GATE 2019 score and All India Rank, then the one with the earlier date of birth would be placed higher in the order of merit. In case of tie in date of birth also, candidate with higher marks/ percentage in the qualifying examination will be placed higher in the order of merit). Candidates will be considered in this order of merit only.

Application Fee:

    • Application fee is Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) + GST (18%) + Bank charges (as applicable) for General/ OBC-NCL candidates.
    • There is no application fee for SC/ST/PWD and women candidates.

Educational Qualifications required:

  • A candidate must hold a Degree in Engineering in Civil for the post of AEE (Civil) and a Degree in Engineering in Mechanical for the post of AEE (Mechanical) or an equivalent qualification from any University or Institution recognized by the Government or he/she must be an Associated Member of the Institution of Engineers of India in Civil/Mechanical.

Selection Process:

  • The selection of candidates for recruitment to the above posts shall be made on the basis of objective type written test and viva voce test.
  • There shall be 90% weightage on the objective type written test and 10% on the viva voce test.
  • The Commission shall prepare a common list of selected candidates arranged in the order of merit equal to the number of advertised vacancy on the basis of marks secured in objective type written test and viva voce test in respect of AEE (Civil) and AEE (Mechanical).

Selection Process:

  • The selection of the candidates in each category would be done by the HPUs from the candidates who have acquired the essential qualifications and have qualified GATE 2019, purely on the basis of score of the GATE- 2019 (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering-2019)
    in the respective discipline as per requirement of HPUs.
  • No interview will be carried out for the posts being advertised by HPUs.
  • Appointments will be made purely on the basis of merit of the GATE-2019 score. GATE Score of 2018 or prior will not be valid.

  • Rs 500/- For Male Candidates of General Category including Dependent Son of Ex-Servicemen of Haryana.
  • For Male Candidates of all reserved categories of other States
  • Rs 125/- For Female candidates of all (General and Reserved) categories of all States.
